Young Men's Encounter is designed to help young men, ages 10-16, understand and reach toward a biblical idea of manhood while having a great time!
Held on the campground, this event kicks off on Friday evening with a worship service in the chapel. It concludes early Saturday afternoon. What happens between those two times is a combination of godly inspiration, great mentoring and camaraderie shared by leaders and fathers, and several ridiculously fun activities!
Fathers or mentors are welcome to attend the event with their son, or young men are welcome to come by themselves.

CANNON, ZIP LINE, AND RC CARS!
This year we’re adding the option to stay in a tent overnight! A father and son can bring a tent and stay in a designated area. Don’t forget to bring a blanket!
See a cannon fire. You’ll feel the power of the concussion in your chest. Go flying on a zip line! Battle Radio Controlled Cars on a sumo table! YME 2026 will be unforgettable!
YOUNG MEN’S ENCOUNTER FAQs

Absolutely! There is no requirement for a dad or mentor to attend with a student. About half of the young men come with a mentor and about half come without a mentor.

In addition to clothing and toiletries, attendees should bring bedding and towels for their overnight stay. All mattresses in the dorms are twin-sized.

Dress for all services and sessions is casual and comfortable.

An event registration is refundable until 7 days prior to event, and transferrable until 24 hours before the event.
